Address verification and correction

• If you wish to process address files in batch mode you can do so with your own applications or you may choose to use the nCode Batch Processing Utility. The utility will produce corrected address and message files while leaving your original file intact.
  
  
• The nCode Batch Processing Utility reads address files that you provide, in any format that you specify, and produces output files containing corrected addresses and messages indicating the exceptions found within the source file and the actions taken by nCode to correct these exceptions. You can instruct nCode to automatically correct your address data or simply to validate it, without making any changes.
  
  
  

SERP certified by Canada Post

• nCode meets and handily exceeds the SERP performance thresholds established by Canada Post Corporation. Tests have demonstrated that nCode's performance exceeds that of most, if not all, of our competitors' products.
  
  
• SERP certification assures you that our software product has been tested by Canada Post and meets their rigorous standards for postal address accuracy. Most of our customers demand SERP certification as a minimum standard for address management software.
  
  
• nCode has always achieved the highest SERP accuracy ratings. nCode version 8 has been certified by Canada Post as recognizing 99.63% of correctable addresses (75% required to pass). Furthermore, 99.45% of all addresses are handled correctly by nCode overall (98% required to pass). This means that nCode is very aggressive, enabling it to find errors other products might not and nCode is very accurate, resulting in extremely high quality and consistency.

• Typically, no programming is required to use the nCode Batch Processing Utility as an easy to use GUI (Graphical User Interface) is provided which allows for complete setup of any batch operation.
  
  
• Compact and efficient database and engine ensures highest throughput of any such engine.
  
  
• At the heart of the system is the nCode Postal Code database. The 180MB data file as delivered by Canada Post is compressed and indexed by Nova into a proprietary database format that uses only 10MB of disk space. nCode can operate against this hard drive based database or you can choose to have nCode preload the entire database into high speed RAM memory, thus eliminating file I/O (input/output) and boosting performance significantly. This ensures fastest response times and maximum throughput of high volumes of transactions.

Monthly updates of master Postal Code database

• Nova Marketing ensures that your data is current by updating the nCode database each month using address data published by Canada Post. Updates of the compressed nCode database are then made available to our clients by download from our web site.
